VEN2013 – Mexico added an important victory
In a game that went from low to high, the team led by Sergio Valdeolmillos defeated Jamaica, 100-89, in a game on the third day of the second round of the FIBA Americas Championship. Mexico's Hector Hernandez was the best scorer with 25 points.

After eliminating Brazil, Jamaica surprised Argentina, 81-75 and added another historic victory in the second round of the FIBA Americas Championship. Weyinmi Rose was the hero for the Jamaicans with 24 points.

Jamaica defeated Brazil, 78-76 and eliminated the Brazilian team from the FIBA Americas Championship. On the other hand, the team led by Sam Vincent qualified for the second Round of the tournament. Samardo Samuels was the top scorer for Jamaica, with 21 points.

VEN2013 - Puerto Rico suffered but finished first and undefeated

Puerto Rico defeated Jamaica, 88-82 , won his fourth consecutive match and secured first place in Group A of the FIBA Americas Championship in Caracas, Venezuela. The “ Boricua” team, who seemed to have the game under control , had to suffer more than necessary to finish. Jose Juan Barea was the best for the winners, with 24 points.

In the opening game of the FIBA Americas Championship in Caracas, Venezuela, Canada won with authority, 85-64 over Jamaica in the “Poliedro of Caraca”s and earned the first win in Group A. For the winning team winner, Cory Joseph and Brady Heslip scored 17 points each.

The Canadian National Team started its summer competitive season with a sweep of the two-game 2013 Jack Donohue International Classic versus visiting Jamaica. The host country won 77-72 after opening the series with an 81-72 victory two nights ago.
