Efes Pilsen (TUR)
He began playing professionally at the Welcome to Uruguay in 2001. In 2003 he played with Salto, then was signed by Real Madrid and subsequently transferred to the Pozuelo (Spain). In 2004. he went to Nacional (Uruguay), after the season to Trouville in Montevideo and also played two games to Liceo Mixto of Los Andes in Chile. Then in 2005, played in Aguas de Calpe (LEBSpain).
On September 12, 2005 he played for the Atlanta Hawks, becoming the first Uruguayan to do so in the NBA. In 2007 the Boston Celtics signed him but he was later cut from the team. Then he singed with Maccabi Tel Aviv, until 2009 when he moved to Argentina to play in league Freedom of Sunchales. After season and a half in Fuenlabrada, he signed 2011 to Caja Laboral Baskonia.
On July 13, the pivot became a free agent and committed for three seasons with Efes Pilsen in Turkey.
His debut with the National Team was in the Pre-Olympic in 2005, was leading rebounder in every tournament, South American, Pre-Pan American and worldwide. He was also a top scorer in the 2006 South American and Pan 2007. With very good height and strength, has a huge presence in the low post where he is one of the best in the FIBA world.
